Maca's custom made aluminium moulds have a side entry, unlike any others for sale out there. This allows you to pour molten metal in a vertical way as well as laterally if what you are casting requires it.
Most of what I cast requires to sit vertically rather than horizontally on the sand, this is why I got the good boys from Profile Metals to machine these bad boys for me.
