You will learn several wax modelling techniques for jewellery, such as pouring, casting in moulds, dripping, soldering, modelling, carving and their endless combinations to achieve the wax jewellery models that you dream of, with the bonus of adding settings for gemstones in wax, to be cast in place or after casting. Gemstones are not included but can be purchased in house.
Let me take you through a variety of techniques, using a vast array of tools and equipment to achieve the most diverse results using different types of jewellers wax. We will be focusing on getting your wax models casting ready, either to cast yourself in-house with the delft sand method or taking them to be cast at my trusted casting facility in Akl.
